Arizona social media favorite Clue Heywood visited 26 of the state’s casinos in 48 hours

Known on social media under the nickname Clue Heywood, the anonymous Arizona influencer visited 26 tribal casinos in the state over a 48-hour period. He announced his plans to his X (former Twitter) followers on February 23, 2024.

Heywood, who gained popularity with his Challenges, comments and recommendations, traveled 2,635 kilometers over the weekend. Along the way, he made at least one bet in each of the gambling establishments visited. Heywood called his venture a fun and silly challenge. Back in January, he wrote in X that he was bored and could visit all the casinos in Arizona.

Influencer was joined by author and journalist Tom Zellner, who recently published Rim to River, a book about his journey through Arizona’s 251 The duo set off after the six weeks it took to work out the route. Visiting gambling establishments, Heywood left brief reviews. For example, he praised the cuisine at Desert Diamond Casino in Tucson, and called Twin Arrows Navajo Casino near Flagstaff refined and quiet, with friendly staff and elegant service. However, Influencer was annoyed by the ubiquitous abundance of lights and sounds in gambling establishments.

Tribal casinos in the state are regulated by the Arizona Indian Gaming Association. will be used to fund Arizona’s public programs.
