Caesars Reveals New Details of Times Square Casino Complex Project

Tom Rigg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment, shared a few interesting details about the company’s plans for the Times Square casino. In a recent interview with News 12, details were revealed, including those previously not publicly disclosed.

During the walkout, Rigg revealed that the new facility, if licensed, would be the largest for the company. The project would house Caesars Palace Times Square in an existing 52-story skyscraper. Plans call for an approximately 23,000-square-foot gaming area on the upper floors and 950 hotel rooms. According to Rigg, there is a lot of unused energy in the area. He said the complex will have luxurious terraces with bars and views of the plaza.

There was discussion about criticism of the potential project because of its impact on safety and congestion in the area. Rigg noted, We have traffic consultants who have prepared plans for how we could reduce congestion in Times Square compared to the current situation. And I think if opponents take the time to sit down and hear what we’re planning and what my experience is, they’ll change their minds.

Speaking of taxes, the chief executive noted that the company already pays New York about $100 million (8.28 billion rubles) from sports betting. Casino revenue, in his opinion, would be much higher.

Commenting on Caesars’ collaboration with Jay Z, Rigg said the celebrity was a perfect fit as a partner in the New York project. When asked to disclose details previously not publicly disclosed, the CEO said that Palace Times Square would have incredible betting shops. With that and a partnership with Jay Z, the complex will offer a truly unparalleled experience, Rigg said.

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s largest land-based casino goes online with TG Lab.
