The island of Curaçao will host the SiGMA Curaçao Summit with the gambling industry from September 25-28 at the Marriott Beach Resort. The event is realized by the international organization SiGMA together with the Minister of Finance of Curaçao, Javier Silvania.
Curaçao is one of the oldest gambling jurisdictions in the world. The island is now on the verge of passing new legislation. It will bring the jurisdiction in line with international standards. The updated laws will change the licensing model itself, as well as the conditions of operation and monitoring of all issued permits.
SiGMA Curaçao participants will have the opportunity to hear about the innovations directly from the Minister of Sylvania: he is leading the process of legislative change.
