Macau casino operator Galaxy Entertainment Group has reported financial results for the third quarter of 2023. Gross gaming revenue (GGR) reached HK$8.75 billion (Rmb102.9 billion). The increase was 14.2% compared to the second quarter result. Meanwhile, year-on-year growth reached 852.7%.
Net revenue than in the previous quarter.
Louis Che Woo, Chairman of Galaxy Entertainment, commented on the operator’s positive results. From a business profit perspective, we are very pleased to see the continued recovery in both visitor numbers and related gaming revenues, Wu said. The chairman also noted that the operator’s mass-market gaming revenue was approximately 102% over 2019 levels before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Galaxy Entertainment had $24.8 billion (Rmb291.5 billion) in cash and liquid investments as of Sept. 30
