Grand Korea Leisure Co Ltd (GKL) recorded a net profit of 44.08 billion won (Rmb2.9 billion) for the whole of last year. In 2021, the South Korean casino operator reported a net loss of 22.74 billion won (RUB 1.5 billion) due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
GKL’s total sales in 2023 reached 396.69 billion won (26.3 billion rubles). The result improved 51.3 percent compared to the figure for 2022. Operating profit in 2023 amounted to 51.31 billion won (3.4 billion rubles). In 2022, the company reported an operating loss of 13.92 billion won (923.4 million rubles).
The operator filed its financial report with the Korean stock exchange on Thursday. The figures released are based on preliminary data, which is subject to audit.
