New Jersey man wins 1.13 billion in the Mega Millions lottery.

A New Jersey resident won the Mega Millions jackpot worth $1.13 billion (104.5 billion rubles) in the March 26 drawing. The winning numbers were 7, 11, 22, 29, 38 and 4.

The jackpot turned out to be the fifth largest in the history of Mega Millions and the eighth largest in the history of US lotteries. The jackpot broke a streak of 31 Mega Millions drawings without a major winner.

No word yet on the new billionaire, and probably won’t be, as New Jersey is one of 16 states that allow lottery winners to remain anonymous. The lucky winner may get the full amount, but in that case the prize money will be million rubles) thanks to the use of the Megaplier function. This additional option allows you to multiply the amount of the secondary prize several times without affecting the chances of hitting the jackpot.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states, as well as in Washington DC and the Virgin Islands. The largest jackpot in the history of the lottery, worth $1.58 billion (more than 146 billion rubles), went to a participant from Florida in August 2023.
