Philippine gambling regulator PAGCOR expects 61.5 billion in revenue in 2024

Gambling regulator and state-owned casino operator Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR) has forecast operating income for 2024. The amount is expected to total 61.5 billion Philippine pesos (P101.8 billion). The regulator announcedto the national government. This amount is estimated at 37.5 billion pesos (62 billion rubles). Another 12.1 billion pesos (20 billion rubles) will be transferred to finance socio-civic projects. These include the construction of educational and community health centers. Other allocations include 451 million pesos (746.6 million rubles) for cities where PAGCOR gambling facilities are located.

Earlier, PAGCOR reported a net profit for the first nine months of 2023. The amount amounted to almost 4.86 billion pesos (about 8 billion rubles) with a revenue of 55.95
