Pragmatic Play makes deal with Soccabet in Ghana
As part of its expansion in Africa, popular iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play has signed an agreement with online bookmaker Soccabet in Ghana. The deal covers slots (Sugar Rush, Gates of Olympus), live games (Mega Wheel, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand) and virtual sports (horse racing, darts, soccer and other types). These and other developer’s products will allow Soccabet to significantly expand its portfolio.
Irina Cornides, chief operating officer of the provider, said the partnership has taken place and it was great to see the start of work in Ghana with a respected local operator. She also said: As we expand our presence in regulated markets around the world, Pragmatic Play is excited to make our globally popular slot machines, live casino and virtual sports games available to an even wider audience.
Soccabet General Manager Imad Hawah expressed his joy over the deal, calling Pragmatic Play’s portfolio of titles high-quality and diverse. According to him, players will have the most enjoyable experience possible. Hawah also noted that Pragmatic Play has taken an innovative approach that has really improved the customer experience and allowed them to enjoy the games much more.
For the provider, the new agreement is not the first in Ghana. Previously, there was a multi-year agreement between Pragmatic Play and PrideBet. The company has also teamed up with 10Bet in South Africa and has become more active in the region as a whole.
Expansion is underway in other continents as well. In Latin America, Pragmatic Play made a deal with Vem Betar, and in the Canadian province of Ontario with the operator Bet365.
Meanwhile, International Entertainment is buying 382 slot machines for the New Coast Hotel Manila.
